Redbox Names Jason Kwong Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer
Redbox, America’s leading destination for low-cost, new-release movie and video game rentals, today announced the appointment of Jason Kwong as the company’s Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer. Mr. Kwong will lead strategic partnerships and oversee new business initiatives at Redbox.

With more than 15 years of deep experience in developing and managing new business ventures within the digital entertainment and media industries, Mr. Kwong’s career includes roles at Helio, Virgin Mobile, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and Netflix. He most recently held the role of Senior Vice President, Strategy, Program Planning and Acquisitions at Fullscreen Media – a youth-focused media company with a global network of digital content creators on YouTube and a direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from UCLA.
Mr. Kwong will report to Mr. Smith out of the company’s Bellevue, Wash. office.
